Dutch retailer Jumbo has opened its first Jumbo City convenience store at Eindhoven’s central train station to cater for travellers and visitors.
The new store offers a wide range of freshly-prepared meals, which customers can eat in the café area or take away.
It is tailored towards the busy schedules of people travelling in and out of the city centre, with daily opening hours from 6.30am to 11pm.
Customer Demand
“We want to provide our customers with an appropriate solution at any time of the day and for every food requirement in the city centre,” said Colette Cloosterman-van Eerd, Jumbo's CCO for formulation and innovation.
“We are therefore very proud to open the first Jumbo City station store at the Eindhoven train station," she added.
"With our unique fresh range of products, based on unique and customised recipes, we can respond to the wishes of travellers and visitors of the city centre. This allows us to make good and healthy food accessible to all.”
