Lithuanian grocery retailer Maxima Grupé has named Dalius Misiūnas as the company's new CEO, replacing Robertas Čipkus.
Misiūnas is set to join the company from furniture and apparel retailer SBA Baldų Kompanija, where he acted as CEO and Vice President.
“We are the largest private Lithuanian capital company in the Baltic States and we are pleased to be able to attract top-level managers," said Petras Jašinskas, chairman of Maxima Grupė.
"Now that Dalius has joined the team, his long-term competence and professionalism will become a significant part in the pursuit of sustainable growth of business value.”
Maxima Grupé also announced that Gintaras Jasinskas, who was previously head of Franmax, has been appointed as the company's new commerce director.
The retail group operates over 550 stores across Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Bulgaria and Poland, including the Maxima, T-Market, and Aldik chains.
