Spar Netherlands has announced the opening of two new stores, a Spar City outlet in Breda and a Spar store in Spaubeek, South-Limburg.
The new stores have both been opened by independent retailers under the age of 30; Spar City Breda by 23 year old Djordy de Nooijer and Spar Spaubeek by 29 year old Niek Saldenwill.
The Spar City concept in Breda is a new concept store that focuses on a range of food-to-go options for busy customers.
“We have noticed that customers tend to make last-minute decisions about what and where they eat. Our Spar city stores, which offer an extensive choice of Food-to-Go solutions, are aimed at meeting this trend,” said Sjaak Kranendonk, Managing Director of SPAR Netherlands.
