Packaging giant Ardagh Group has announced that it is creating limited edition ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ aluminium Coca-Cola Zero Sugar bottles, in collaboration with Coca-Cola.
Each of the 25cl bottles will be printed at Ardagh’s specialist plant in Beaurepaire, France, and will feature one of the film’s six main characters.
The bottles coincide with the release of the second film in the new Star Wars sequel trilogy, which opens on 15 December, and will be available from selected retailers in the UK, France and Benelux.
Iconic Franchise
“It is an honour for us to be associated with one of the most iconic film franchises over the past half century, and to produce another striking limited edition shaped aluminium bottle for Coca-Cola,” said Marc Bettinger, sales director of aluminium packaging at Ardagh Group.
With regards to our own galaxy, Ardagh Group revealed in September that its aluminium cans have been used on the International Space Station, packaging meals from French food manufacturer Hénaff, including several gourmet options by French chef Thierry Marx.
