Anheuser-Busch InBev brand Budweiser beer will rebrand its cans and bottles over the US election period, changing the name to 'America'.
The new packaging, which will start 23 May until after the November election date, is part of the iconic brand's 'America is in Your Hands' campaign.
The beer, owned by Belgian-Brazilian drinks giant AB InBev, has previously taken on 'patriotic' packaging campaigns, including featuring the American flag and the Staue of Liberty on the can.
"Budweiser has always strived to embody America in a bottle, and we're honored to salute this great nation where our beer has been passionately brewed for the past 140 years," said Budweiser vice president Ricardo Marques.
The new name will be featured on the front of the can or bottle, in the familiar blue cursive font, and the "King of Beers" slogan will be replaced with “E Pluribus Unum,” or “Out of Many, One.”
