RPC supplier IFCO has posted a 16% increase in revenue (at constant currency levels) to $992 million in its full year 2015/16, according to accounts just filed.
The group realised benefits from increased usage of its crates by retailers and suppliers, greater use of supply chain standardisation, and through the acquisition of leading RPC providers in South America and Asia.
Europe was the largest market for IFCO over the year, accounting for revenues of $621 million, while North America accounted for revenues of $199 million.
According to Wolfgang Orgeldinger, chief executive of IFCO, “Fiscal year 2016 was an incredible year for our company. This high rate of growth is a testament to the value our customers receive from their use of our products. We are very grateful to all of our customers, suppliers, and employees worldwide for their support.”
