Rexam Unveils Extensive ‘Cities’ Branding Campaign In Russia

Packaging giant Rexam has teamed up with Baltika #3, one of Russia’s leading beer brands, to unveil a massive branding project that will see the production of 990 different can designs, each bearing the name of a Russian city.

The design project is being described as the largest undertaken by Rexam to date.

Rexam said that the designs were possible due to its ‘Editions’ technology, which was introduced at its Moscow Design Centre.

“Our longstanding relationship with Baltika #3 enabled streamlined working, resulting in a very efficient turnaround in designs,” said Vitaly Polyvyaniy, Customer Fulfilment Manager at Rexam.

“Ensuring each city name was clearly visible on can and on shelf was key, but also presented our biggest printing challenge yet – with some names having up to 24 characters! Collaborative working with Baltika’s design team meant we were able to overcome this with ease.”

The cans are on sale from now until December 2015.
