After five years at Sainsbury's and a total of 13 years in the retail packaging sector, Jane Skelton will take up the role of head of packaging and print technology manager at Sainsbury's, replacing Stuart Lendrum, who moves to become head of sustainable and ethical sourcing at the retailer.
Stuart Lendrum played a significant role in the introduction of on-pack recycling information on Sainsbury's products, as well as the adoption of biodegradable cellophane for fresh produce. He will now turn his focus to sustainable and ethical sources, with particular focus on food waste. (21 June)
