Bar-code and labelling-solutions company Sato will demonstrate its latest standalone labelling technology at this year's CFIA show in Rennes, France, from 8 to 10 March.
Sato will present its new print-and-apply system, which integrates the new NX series of industrial printers with imbedded application-enabled printing (AEP) technology for quick and easy label printing on food-packaging applications. The group will present at CFIA, showcasing the latest innovations in food-processing in Europe.
SATO’s NX series is made for demanding food- and drink-packaging operations. The new AEP feature, meaning that a PC is no longer essential for printing, offers benefits in ease of use, as well as cost and space savings.
"Our print-and-apply systems are designed to meet the demand of the fast-paced food-manufacturing industry and help businesses optimise internal and external logistics processes and, most notably, cut costs, offering ease of use, low maintenance and high durability," said Neil Batchelor, general manager of SATO Europe.
"Through the development of our NX series, we are able to offer an even greater level of flexibility to our customers, minimise their total cost of ownership, and boost efficiency to give them a competitive edge."
