As a result, Greene Farm Foods saw a total reduction in packaging costs of 20%, while reducing its overseas imports through local production.
At the National Print Awards, Smurfit Kappa display was honoured for its Largo Foods Tayto Ibiza Impulse display unit, which focused on innovation and design to increase product visibility at the point of sale.
The Tayto team commented, “Smurfit Kappa proposed a display design that combined all the on-pack elements but with a stand out header which contained LED lights.
“The LED lights were relatable to the Ibiza promotion, increased visibility and stand out in trade and gained consumer traction in store, which can be a cluttered environment. The LED lights were a simple but brilliant solution and the display unit met all of our objectives.”
