SPAR Hungary has announced that it has introduced two new eco-friendly packaging solutions for food items in INTERSPAR hypermarkets across the country.
The new additions include a washable Snack’n’Go food bag and Boc’n’Roll sandwich packaging material.
The Snack’n’Go is a BPA-free, vegan food bag, apt for packing fruit and vegetables, sandwiches, seeds, and a host of other items.
The inside of the bag is made of stain repellent material and it does not allow moisture to pass through, the retailer said.
'A Sustainable Future'
Márk Maczelka, head of communications at SPAR Hungary, commented, “The challenge of a sustainable future is how to decrease household plastic waste and maintain the comfort of shopping and everyday life at the same time.
“SPAR Hungary is constantly increasing its environmentally conscious products, which have been received positively by customers. We hope that the new products will be as popular.”
The Boc’n’Roll sandwich packaging material is BPA-free, vegan, and machine washable.
It is available in various sizes and can be used to pack sandwiches, bakery products, or fruits in an eco-friendly way.
The simple and durable packaging solution offers an alternative to disposable packaging materials such as aluminium foil, SPAR added.
