Tetra Pak has unveiled two new 'portion-sized' packages to take advantage of the growing on-the-go beverage market: the Tetra Prisma Aseptic 200 and 250 Edge with DreamCap 26.
The new packages build on the success of the Tetra Prisma Aseptic 330 ml with DreamCap, offering consumers smaller-sized beverage cartons with the same resealable one-step closure.
“Our customers need packaging solutions that can help them capture opportunities and maximise growth," said Charles Brand, the executive vice-president of product management and commercial operations at Tetra Pak.
"Bringing two new packages to join the highly successful Tetra Prisma Aseptic 330 ml with DreamCap is our latest answer to help them exploit the huge potential of the on-the-go market. We are very pleased to have already seen success with the early-adopter customers."

With research indicating that more than 40% of consumers are snacking while on the go at least once a week [Source: Roper Reports Worldwide 2015], many feel that existing 330ml cartons are too large for their needs. With this in mind, says Tetra Pak, "[there is] huge market potential for portion packages under 250 ml, worldwide demand for which is anticipated to grow to 72 billion litres by 2019, up 10% from current volumes."
