Food-packaging and -processing giant Tetra Pak has released a new packaging suite of material effects, known as Tetra Pak Artistry, which will 'help food and beverage producers revitalise the look and feel of their products'.
The concept will help brands pique shoppers' interest without the company having to change to a different format or invest in new equipment, Tetra Pak said in a release.
Charles Brand, the executive VP of product management and commercial operations at Tetra Pak, said, “In a world where almost everything needs to be ‘personalisable’, we want to provide customers with something unique to help their brands rise above the noise and reach the shopper.
"The new suite of effects and expressions will help our customers enhance their brand at no additional investment, making it a cost-effective solution to their needs," Brand added.

The features will include Tetra Pak Reflect, which allows manufacturers to incorporate holographic effects; Tetra Pak Metallized, which creates a metallic effect; and Tetra Pak Craft, which allows brands to give their products the natural look of unadorned paperboard with wood fibres.
The company said that it is working on another effect, called Tetra Pak Sculpt, which allows for an 'embossed surface texture'.
The company announced in February that it has now sold more than half a billion units of its renewable packaging line, Tetra Rex Bio-Based.
