Portugal’s Super Bock Group has designed a new bottle made of 100% recycled plastic for its natural water brand, Vitalis.
The new 1.5 litre bottle, which has been made from recycled plastic bottles, will enable the company to remove more than 6.3 tonnes of new plastics from its operations per year.
Over the coming weeks, the new bottles will be launched in cardboard boxes, contributing to further reduction in plastic usage in wrapping multipacks.
Visual Identity
The visual identity features an entirely green label, different from the original blue and red colours of Vitalis, to emphasise that the product uses recycled materials and is also recyclable.
The label is also recyclable and FSC certified, ensuring that the materials are sourced from sustainably managed forests.
The bottle is part of a long-term project for Super Bock Group, which has reduced the weight of flatwater plastic packaging in its operations by 25% over the past decade.
