Conserve Italia-owned juice brand Yoga has introduced sustainable packaging for fruit juices in a bid to reduce the company's environmental impact and improving the ecosystem.
The new green packaging uses more materials from renewable and recyclable sources.
Sustainable Packaging
The juice company has introduced Tetra Cristal packaging for all 200 ml Yoga SKUs comprising the Optimum and Optimum Senza Zuccheri Aggiunti ranges.
Tetra Cristal is a new eco-friendly sustainable packaging that uses more paper and less plastic and aluminium.
It is 7% smaller compared to the previous packaging, thus optimising the volume-surface ratio.
The material used for the outer layer and lamination is made with a vegetable polymer.
The new packaging is designed to cut CO2 emissions by 14% compared to the previous one, the company added.
Other Initiatives
This summer, Yoga also introduced fully recyclable bottles made exclusively with 50% recycled plastic, the maximum allowed by Italian law, for one-litre juice packs.
Previously, the historic brand reduced the weight of juice bottles by 20%, starting with the one-litre PET bottle, one of its best-selling references.
