Discount grocery retailer Penny Market is expanding its offer of healthy products in Italy with the new private label line, Free.
The line consists of 14 new gluten-free and lactose-free products, designed to meet the needs of those who suffer from intolerance and allergies, or prefer to follow a particular diet, reports In Store Magazine.
Product Range
The new assortment, available in stores from this week, includes gluten-free products such as pasta, cakes and biscuits, as well as yoghurt and cheese that are free from lactose.
Other references will soon be added to complete the range, including maize and rice pasta, quinoa cookies, chocolate biscuits, yoghurts, mozzarella and stracchino cheese.
Free joins over 15 private label lines that available in Penny Market stores throughout Italy.
Last month, the retailer opened seven new stores in Liguria, which it acquired from grocery retailer Dico.
