European buying alliance AMS Sourcing has announced that the newly-formed Ahold Delhaize group will source private brand products through its platform.
The group, which also includes retailers including Morrisons, ICA, Esselunga and Dansk Supermarked, to name but a few, in its alliance, announced that Ahold Delhaize was joining as a shareholder this week.
AMS Sourcing, which is based in Amsterdam, was founded in 1998, and works on behalf of ten European retailers.
‘By pooling and leveraging retailers’ expertise and volume to source Private Brand products on an international scale, AMS is able to deliver the best possible quality goods at competitive prices,’ the group said in a statement.
‘This enables retailers to offer shoppers greater value for money in today’s fast-moving retail market.
