Dutch supermarket chain Albert Heijn has announced that it has extended its private-label range of ice cream with a new Italian (scoop) ice cream product line.
The new range is free from artificial colours and flavours. It is produced by the family-owned company, Tonitto, which is based in Genoa and uses mostly locally produced ingredients.
The Italian ice cream is available in a range of flavours, such as Yoghurt, Pistacchio, Ciocco Cocco (chocolate cake), Spagnola (amarena cherry), Stracciatella, Nocciola (hazelnut), Soberto Mandarino and Soberto Pompelmo (grapefruit), Tiramisu and Cioccolato Pralinato.
