Albert Heijn Presents Festive Christmas Sweaters

Dutch retailer Albert Heijn has launched three Christmas sweaters, designed by Instagram followers taking part in a '72-hour challenge'. They were tasked with designing a distinctive Christmas jumper or sweater, in no more than three days. Out of 80 submissions, three designs were chosen and produced.

Floor Evers, a graphic designer from Amsterdam, commented on her winning design: "With this tough, unisex design, I'm going to showing that the phrase Christmas Sweater (Kersttrui) is powerful enough by itself, to get us in the Christmas mood - no bells or whistles needed. Just like the Albert Heijn brand name, its's clear and strong."

The limited edition of Albert Heijn Christmas jumpers will be available, exclusively, at Albert Heijn's 'Allerhande' Christmas Festival, which is scheduled for the weekend of 9 to 11 December.
