Aldi Italia has added two new lines of dairy products - Primis and Bonlà - to its private-label assortment.
Primis offers Grana Padano and Parmigiano Reggiano D.O.P. cheese that are carefully selected based on product features.
The retailer has decided to focus on a minimum maturation period of 14 and 16 months, well beyond the minimum required by the Italian regulations.
The assortment ranges from Grana Padano D.O.P. aged for 16 months to products wrapped by hand with a maturation period of 20 months.
Parmigiano Reggiano D.O.P. is available in a maturation range of 16 to 30 months.
The Primis line also includes grated Grana Padano D.O.P. (200 grams), Parmigiano Reggiano D.O.P. (100 grams), as well as Grana Padano D.O.P. cubes.
Milk And Yoghurts
The Bonlà range offers products made of 100% Italian milk, sourced exclusively from local farms.
It includes whole milk, partly skimmed, and chocolate milk as well as yoghurts in whole, white, and fruit variants.
It also offers mozzarella, ricotta, sweet provola, stracchino, scamorza, mascarpone, and fresh cream.
