German retailer Aldi Süd has launched a series of ten minute videos featuring TV chef Sybille Schönberger to promote its private label wine range.
The videos, which will be released every two weeks, will follow Schönberger as she visits wine-growing areas, interviews experts, and prepares meals to accompany the wine.

"The format with Sybille Schönberger shows in an entertaining way how simple food can be combined with good wine," said Sandra Sibylle Schoofs, marketing director at Aldi Süd.
The retailer says that it hopes the videos will give customers a greater understanding of the wines on sale in Aldi Süd. The first episode focuses on the Mosel Riesling, which is one of the most popular wines in the range.
The 15-part series will be released on the retailer's specialised wine website.
