Aldi in the UK has announced the launch of a new prosecco-flavoured cheesecake bar.
The German-based discounter is launching the cheesecake dessert bars as part of its Specially Selected range, and it will be available in two flavours, Raspberry & Prosecco and Peanut Butter.
Cheesecake Dessert Bars
The Raspberry & Prosecco flavour features buttery biscuit crumb base, smooth cream cheese and raspberry and prosecco sauce. Each bar is topped with cream, white chocolate curls and a raspberry nib decoration.
The Peanut Butter flavour combines the nutty filling of a biscuit base with dulce de leche sauce and finished with a chocolate ganache layer, peanuts and toffee sauce.
Each pack contains two individual bars for only £1.99.
In the build-up to Christmas, Aldi launched a Prosecco-infused chicken in its UK stores last year also as part of its Specially Selected range. It featured a whole British chicken, basted with a prosecco marinade, topped with a wine and mushroom seasoning and edible gold.
