Sweden's Axfood has launched a new website for its Garant private label range.
The own-label brand was launched six years ago and aims to give consumers good food that is value for money.
Speaking about the new website, sustainability manager Åsa Domeij said, "We want to be open about the origin and sustainability, which is exactly what our consumers value most when selecting their groceries at the store."
The retailer’s private label ranges make up 27.3 per cent share of its overall sales.
In April the company released its first quarter summary of 2016. Retail sales for group-owned stores increased by 7.9 per cent for the period while like-for-like sales increased by 5.2 per cent.
Consolidated sales amounted to SEK 10,395m, an increase of 8.7 per cent.
Axfood said it expects operating profit for 2016 to exceed the outcome for 2015.
