Carrefour Polska has announced plans to keep the prices of around 150 private-label products unchanged despite an increase in demand for essential items due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The move aims to provide shoppers a sense of security about the availability of everyday products at a fixed, unchanged price.
'Safety And Comfort'
Commercial director of Carrefour Polska, Marek Lipka, commented, “The safety and shopping comfort of our clients in this difficult period is our highest goal.
“We have launched in all formats of our stores a guarantee of constant prices for the most-needed everyday products.”
The products that will be a part of this initiative include cereals, flour, sugar, dairy products, and hygiene products, such as toilet paper and paper towels.
