Italian food company Colussi has signed a partnership deal with France-based international rice producer Marbour to produce and market rice under private label brands.
The two partners have decided to create a new jointly-owned company, Gariboldi, to which the Colussi Group transferred its business relating to the rice mill and rice business for third-party brands, in addition to the production of its own Flora parboiled rice.
However, Colussi Group will retain all activities for the promotion, distribution and marketing of Flora brand products, which will benefit from a further boost from the partnership.
