Portuguese hypermarket chain Continente has launched the 'Taste & Approve' initiative, inviting customers to express their opinions about its private-label products.
The initiative, which runs until December, will tour Portugal from north to south, to challenge Portuguese consumers to offer their verdict on a number of Continente products, giving them a score based on the feelings captured by the five senses.
The initiative will take place in various Continente, Continente Modelo and Continente Bom Dia stores, via a 'sensory space', where customers can experience the private-label fresh products and give their level of satisfaction.
The first cities to take part in the initiative are Castelo Branco, Coimbra and Porto.
This, in turn, will enable Sonae-owned chain to respond to the preferences and expectations of its customers, adapting quickly to various changes in consumer habits.
