Coop Netherlands has announced that it is introducing Sprice, a 100% natural ice cream, into its stores.
Sprice is made from organic fruit and vegetables, with a hint of honey, and no unnatural additives. The product has been developed by Dutch Michelin star chef Moshik Roth.
There are two flavours, cucumber-lime and orange-carrot, which will be available in the majority of the 262 Coop stores across the Netherlands from the beginning of June.
Healthier Choices
Coop said that it wants to ‘surprise its customers with distinctive, really tasty products produced with passion and attention’.
The retailer added that it encourages consumers to make healthier choices, and that Sprice ices fit this ‘conscious diet’, with the two varieties containing less than 28 calories each.
