Coop Sweden has launched a new range of eight cold-pressed raw juices and smoothies in its supermarkets.
The range will include pure fruit juices and smoothies, such as orange, apple and raspberry, strawberry and banana, and mango, orange and passion fruit.
It will also feature juices mixed with root vegetables and exotic fruits. These include spinach, celery and ginger, beetroot and pomegranate, carrot and orange, and pineapple and coconut.
Health Trend
Coop Sweden says that these products are created through high-pressure processing, which preserves vitamins in the juice without compromising on taste and quality. As a result of this process, the juices do not need to be pasteurised or have anything else added to them.
The retailer adds that this 'hot trend' is growing in popularity, especially in the United States.
The juice will be priced at around SEK 15.95 (€1.63) for a 25cl bottle. Orange juice will also be sold in a larger 75cl bottle.
