Coop Switzerland has announced that it has launched a plant-based spread that can be used as an alternative to honey.
The Karma ‘Bee-Free’ dandelion spread is a sweet all-rounder for the kitchen and complements the popular Swiss bread, Zmorge, the company added.
Product Highlights
The product is characterised by a strong floral aroma and mild taste, making it apt for use as a spread or a topping for porridges and mueslis.
It can also be added to desserts, iced frappés, or warm teas, for hot and cold weather.
The Bee-Free dandelion spread is available in a 225-gram jar for CHF 5.95 in all Coop supermarkets in the country and online on coop.ch.
Coop’s Karma private-label range offers more than 300 vegan and vegetarian products certified with the V-label.
These include fine mueslis, a rich selection of tofus, pasta, drinks and countless ingredients for the preparation of balanced dishes.
