Coop Switzerland has recalled its Coop Naturaplan organic dried apple rings because of slightly elevated levels of sulphites in the products.
In rare cases, consumers could encounter instances of intolerance to the contents of the 150g SKUs, the retailer has warned. It has stated the product “does not adhere to Coop’s quality standards.”
Sulphite-sensitive customers have been urged not to consume the apple rings, but to return them to any Coop supermarket, where they will be reimbursed (CHF 7.95).
Coop has discontinued retailing the product.
