Belgian retailer Delhaize has launched a new private label range, Raw Cakes, in response to consumer demand for healthier, alternative treats.
The cakes are all made from natural ingredients that are uncooked and unprocessed, such as vegetables, fruits, cereals, and nuts. The products are suitable for vegetarians and vegans, and are free from lactose, gluten, and refined sugars.
The new range includes four varieties - chocolate and caramel, lime and mango, raspberry and blueberry, and vanilla.
The retailer said that Raw Cakes is an innovative product that aims to offer more choice for its customers, but can be enjoyed by everyone.
