Russian retailer Dixy Group has won four awards in the country's only specialised own brand exhibition, the International Private Label Show (IPLS).
Dixy's D brand won nominations for 'Best Own Food Brand' and 'Best Own Brand in Medium Segment'.
Its Baby Boom (child care products) won a nomination for 'Most Efficient Own Brand Promotion' and a prize in the 'Breakthrough of the Year Category'.
Future Private Label Plans
This year, the group plans to emphasize the further development of its own brands and plans to increase their share in its turnover from 15.5% (as of the end of 2016) to 25% by the end of 2017.
“Own brand products constitute a competitive advantage for Dixy. Implementation of our ambitious plans for increasing their share in our turnover implies, in particular, expansion of the number of partnerships with Russian enterprises and development of regional assortment in key categories,” said Elena Savchenko, own brands development administration director of Dixy Group.
