Preparations are well under way for the third edition of the Free From Food/Ingredient Expo 2015, taking place in Barcelona 4 and 5 June.
The Free From Food Expo is an international trade fair and showcase for manufacturers and suppliers operating in the free-from food and ingredients sectors.
The expo provides a dedicated trading and networking platform, and is a hub of information about a category that is growing rapidly across the Continent.
It is also where top decision-makers source new products and keep up to date with trends and innovations in the free-from sector.
Ronald Holman (pictured), Free From Food Expo exhibition director, explains, “This is the ultimate platform for free-from food and free-from ingredients suppliers to showcase their varied products in a dedicated marketplace. They include gluten-free, dairy-free and sugar-free products, as well as products that are egg-free, fat-free and nut-free.”
There will also be a full conference theatre programme at the show, which last year featured more than 50 speakers, including health and allergy experts, analysts and marketing specialists.
The organisers say that the Free-From Food Expo will be a hive of opportunity for suppliers, as they will have the chance to meet European buyers face to face and introduce their products.
More than 90 per cent of exhibitors at previous events have said that they either achieved or overachieved on their targets, while more than 80 per cent said that they expected to generate additional sales as a direct result of exhibiting.
