German retailer Tegut has announced the launch of Jeden Tag, a brand that will offer up to 700 daily products at permanently low prices.
Jeden Tag will gradually replace products offered under its private label, Tegut…kleinster Preis. However, the term ‘kleinster Preis’ will be retained for Jeden Tag products.
The launch will be advertised for several weeks, starting in mid-August. The supermarket chain has lined up several activities, including displays at its PoS, a raffle in Marktplatz magazine, and weekly pamphlets for the online media.
The products will be packaged in red, for better visibility.
Good Quality At A Low Price
The idea behind launching Jeden Tag is to offer customers good-quality products and low prices.
The product range will include dairy products, beverages, confectionery, meat and pork products, frozen foods, household items and personal-care products.
The assortment will be sourced from national and international producers with quality certifications.
In particular, sausage, milk and cheese will be sourced from selected, well-known producers in Germany.
In June of this year, the retailer's meat products were awarded gold medals by the German Agricultural Society.
