Food-to-go business Greencore has announced plans to recruit 100 new staff members at its distribution depot at Hatfield Business Park in the UK.
Greencore says that the decision to increase its workforce at Hatfield, which opened in November 2015, has been driven by "a new customer win" and will bring the number of staff at the site to 170.
The managing director for operations at Greencore, Steven Evans, commented, “We are delighted to be able to offer so many opportunities.
“This new facility, together with the additional customer volume, provides an excellent strategic platform for our future growth, and we’re looking for people to join Greencore and be part of our success.”
The company is looking to take on new warehouse staff and drivers, as well filling multiple management roles, and also expects to hire another 150 people at its other depots in early 2016.
