Hypermarket chain Intermarché has launched a competition in Portugal aimed at promoting its private label brand.
Lasting until 22 December, the initiative will award the 100 best recipes using products from the retailer’s own private label brands, featuring over 2,000 products.
The recipes should be submitted to the Intermarché website, accompanied by a photograph of the ingredients used and an image of the completed product.
Participants must be holders of loyalty cards issued by the retailer – i.e. the Cartão Poupança or Carta Os Mosqueteiros.
Winners will receive €25 on the card, as well as a thermal bag. Their recipe and photos will also be published online.
Intermarché, part of French retail group Les Mousquetaires, opened its 243rd store in Portugal on 6 December, in Ermesinde, in the municipality of Valongo.
The new store is part of the 2015-2020 expansion plan which foresees the opening of 63 stores by 2020, taking the total to 294.
