International Private Label Consult (IPLC) has announced the appointment of René Dolata as partner for the DACH market, incorporating Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
“We are excited to bring our German office back up to strength with an additional partner," commented Koen de Jong, managing partner, IPLC. "The DACH market offers enormous potential for further growth and René will use his experience and vast network in the German market to support clients in both Germany and beyond."
Previous Roles
Prior to joining IPLC, Dolata worked for many years in the private label non-food industry in Germany, holding roles with companies including Luhns, a household cleaning and personal care specialist, and razor blade manufacturer Wilkinson Sword. Here, he built up the private label division in the DACH region.
In addition, in various key account functions he gained extensive experience in international discount, food retail and drugstore channels.
'Passionate About Private Label'
Commenting on his appointment, Dolata said, “I am passionate about private label and wish to support companies entering or expanding their business in the DACH region. Based on my broad experience in different categories and channels, I am familiar with tenders and the decision-making process within retailers and buying groups.
"I will make my network and knowledge available to support companies to build a successful private label business. Specifically within an organisation in which brand production is combined with private label, this can be a challenge”
Founded in 2003, IPLC is a consulting firm specialised in strategic consultancy services and project management support to manufacturers and retailers. It boasts offices in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Italy and Portugal.
