Italy's SUN Consorzio (SUN Consortium) has selected honey firm Apicoltura Vangelisti to produce its Miele Consilia private label honey, according to Gdoweek.
This company, located in the Casentino Valley, Tuscany, has been producing honey since 1929.
Miele Consilia will be distributed by all the consortium's retail groups, including Magazzini Gabrielli, Italbrix, Cadoro, Alfi and Gros, and will also be included in the Saper Scegliere, Scelte Premium and Scelte dalla Natura private label selections.
Honey Production
“We are working with a company well-known for the production of honey”, commented Stefano Rango, managing director, SUN Consorzio. “Ensuring Consilia's product quality has always been our goal."
Elsewhere, Rango explained that the group's partnerships have always been centred on improving quality standards through targeted services.
SUN Consorzio and Apicoltura Vangelisti have been working together for the past 30 years, and the current agreement underlines "the long-standing common purpose between the two companies”, according to Apicoltura Vangelisti commercial manager Marco Vangelisti.
