Kaufland Romania has introduced its first Christmas clothing collection, created exclusively for the retailer by Romanian designer Cătălin Botezatu.
The new collection, 'Denumită Style by Cătălin Botezatu', includes t-shirts, underwear and lingerie, each featuring the brand's logo and festive designs.
This is Botezatu's first collaboration with a Romanian retailer.
Local Partnerships
As part of Kaufland's commitment to creating local partnerships, the clothes in the retailer's new collection are 100% made in Romania.
"In Romania, the potential for expanding our portfolio with Romanian partners is still very high, which is particularly enjoyable," said Valer Hancas, corporate affairs and communication manager at Kaufland Romania.
"The 'Denumită Style by Cătălin Botezatu' collection is the beginning of a beautiful collaboration. We will continue to prepare other surprises for our customers next year."
Clothing is not the only area where Kaufland Romania has made a commitment to promote local businesses.
The retailer recently launched a new private-label range for food products that are made exclusively in Romania, as well as the country's first national pork programme, which aims to increase the amount of locally-produced pork meat in Kaufland stores.
