Lidl France has launched a new television ad campaign to bolster public awareness of its private-label products, beginning with a commercial featuring its private-label filet steak, LSA-Conso.fr reports.
In it, a woman shopping in a Lidl hypermarket is depicted as suspicious as to how a 170-gram filet steak can retail at €3.09. She then begins to imagine the dish one could make using the product.
The next two Lidl France television spots will be for the grocer’s private-label baguette (la rustiguette) and private-label cheese, respectively.
All three commercials emphasise that the German company’s produce is French sourced.
