Contract manufacturer McBride has announced the appointment of Jeffrey Nodland as its new chairman.
Nodland, who joined the company's board as a non-executive director in June 2019, will assume his new role after the company's AGM on 22 October.
He will succeed outgoing chairman John Coleman, who has decided to step down from the role.
Nodland will work closely with Coleman until the AGM to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities, McBride said in its statement.
An Industry Veteran
He is an industry veteran with years worth of experience in consumer chemicals manufacturing businesses for private-label and contract manufacturing activities.
Commenting on his new position, Nodland said, "I am honoured to take the role of Non-Executive Chairman of McBride. The Company has a rich history of manufacturing excellent products for the European retail market.
"We are excited about the Group's future prospects and I look forward to working with a talented leadership team and our dedicated employees."
Work Experience
Before joining McBride, Nodland was the president and CEO of KIK Custom Products, one of North America's largest independent manufacturers of consumer packaged goods.
Prior to this, Nodland also held senior positions at speciality chemical businesses like Hexion Speciality Chemicals Inc., McWhorter Technologies, and The Valspar Corporation.
Presently, Nodland is an independent non-executive director at EcoSynthetix, a developer and manufacturer of bio-based polymers for the wood composite and paper industry, and a board member of Augsburg University in Minneapolis.
