Private-label exhibition MDD Expo begins today (30 March) at Paris Porte de Versailles, bringing together 180 exhibitors from around Europe, as well as 320 from France.
Now in its 15th year, MDD Expo will welcome 20 per cent more international exhibitors this year, with 25 countries represented, from EU countries such as Germany, Ireland and Italy, to global markets like China, India and Turkey. The event runs until Thursday (31 March).
Attendees will have the chance to explore authentic and diverse know-how, expand their sourcing capabilities and enhance their consumer product offerings.
At the MDD Expo German pavilion, for example, a special focus will be put on a wide range of chocolate products, confectionery, and biscuits/pastries, as well as on crackers, semi-finished products, and cereals.
Meanwhile, the Belgian pavilion will feature everything from vegetable oils, syrups and flavoured waters, to food and supplements for pets, fresh produce, processed meats and ready meals, including premium specialty foods.
Finnish exhibitors will be bringing their know-how in the manufacturing of pastries and baked goods (such as muffins, biscuits, sponge cakes and rolls), as well as snacks made from rye, spices, seasonings and fruit.
Finally, suppliers and manufacturers from the Netherlands will showcase their expertise in snacks, biscuits, cookies, bakery ingredients and pastries, as well as mushrooms, spirits and cocktails, pet food and DIY products.
