Swiss retailer Migros is trialling some 400 organic products from the Alnatura organic private label in three of its stores. The German brand has partnered with the co-operative retailer for its Alnatura- Migros organic supermarket in Zürich.
The SKUs are mainly food items although they will sold at a higher price than in Germany due to Swiss import charges. The Alnatura-Migros store opened by Migros Zürich in August of last year has apparently not been as successful as expected but there are plans to open another six Migros-Alnatura organic supermarkets in the future, with other branches of the co-operative looking at the concept.
