Morrisons has launched its first ‘M Kitchen’ frozen convenience range. The line is part in the M Kitchen roll out - more than 300 “restaurant quality” ready meals will be on sale in stores over the coming months. Last year, a chilled range called M Kitchen Bistro was launched; it was a collaboration with a number of the UK's leading chefs including Pierre Koffmann and Aldo Zilli.
The new M Kitchen frozen convenience range includes English, Chinese, Indian and Italian meals. It was developed by Neil Nugent, executive chef and head of innovation at Morrisons. There are 29 classic dishes – eleven of which are new recipes such as Satay Noodles, Cumberland Pie, and Sundried Tomato & Mascarpone Pasta.
All products are priced at £2.00 or two for £3.00, and £3.50 for the family portions. (Jan 18)
