Italian retail group Pam Panorama has launched a new private-label pet-food line for dogs and cats.
The new range, Zóa, features both basic and premium products, divided according to the size and age of the animal.
This includes dry and wet products, with a range of ingredients such as chicken, veal, beef, turkey, salmon, duck and buffalo.
All are produced in Italy, and the premium products are made without added colours or preservatives, some of which are organic, and others that are free from grains.
Growing Segment
Pam Panorama says that it is introducing this new range into its stores to cater for the growing demand for pet-care products.
The retailer says that there are over 60 million pets in Italian homes, 25% of which are dogs and cats, and the number is constantly increasing.
Customers are also starting to look for healthier options for their pets, according to Pam Panorama, including natural and functional food products.
The new Zóa range will now be available in Pan Panorama outlets across Italy. The retailer operates over 180 stores under the Pam, Panorama and Pam Local banners.
