The Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA) has announced details of this year's Roundtable Conference, which will take place online on 23 and 24 February and feature the theme 'The Power of Sustainability'.
Topics of discussion at this year's event will include an analysis of the online retail landscape; the circular route to better packaging; defining the 'new normal' when it comes to retail technology; and consumer attitudes to sustainable purchasing.
'With sustainability not being a choice but necessity nowadays, driving a sustainable private label business can be a challenge for retailers and manufacturers,' PLMA said in a statement.
Day-By-Day Programme
On the opening day (23 February), following an address by Peggy Davies, president, PLMA, speakers will include Denise Klug, editor, Lebensmittel Zeitung; Marjan de Bock-Smit, managing partner, ImpactBuying; and Kevin Vyse, packaging expert and head of technical, ProAmpac.
Day two (24 February) will feature presentations from Peter Hinssen, futurist, and Boris Planer, head of consumer and market insight, WGSN; as well as a panel discussion on The Power of Sustainability, moderated by retail consultant Edgar Elzerman.
Both days will run from 9.30am to 12.30pm CET. For details on how to apply for tickets, click here.
