PLMA's annual Roundtable Conference is moving online for the first time this year.
Taking place on 17 and 18 February, the conference will address the relationship between retailers and private label suppliers, and explore the changing role of technology as well as how to improve business partnerships.
On Wednesday 17 February, four morning sessions will kick off with an assessment of the role of Generation Z consumers on a changing marketplace, hosted by Mintel's Richard Cope. Following this, Chuck Brooks, an international thought leader on the topic of cybersecurity will examine the latest trends in this increasingly important sector.
Concluding the first day, an industry panel of manufacturers and retailers will share their insight and experiences on the changing nature of the retail and private label sectors.
Day two, Thursday 18 February, is dedicated to retailing today and into the future, and is hosted by IGD.
Topics covered will include the accelerating growth of e-commerce and its impact on private label, the vulnerabilities and strengths in the retail supply chain; and best practices in sourcing, product development and private label marketing.
