International Private Label Consult (IPLC), a leading private label consultancy, has announced the opening of a UK office, which will be led by newly-appointed partner Richard Harrow.
Harrow has over 30 years’ experience in the private label market, having spent the last 22 years as managing director of Freiberger UK Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Freiberger Lebensmittel GmbH & Co.
“We are excited for Richard to join our team," commented Koen de Jong, Managing Partner IPLC. "For many years, IPLC has been looking to open an office in the UK as it is without doubt the most advanced and sophisticated market for private label in the world.
"In Richard we have found a professional with a formidable track record in food manufacturing supplying private label into the UK market. Over the last 22 years, he built-up the private label frozen pizza market for Freiberger from almost nothing to a dominant position in the UK frozen pizza market, working with nearly every major UK retail group."
