Spain's Dia has announced that its private label range Delicious posted a turnover of over €49 million in 2016, which marks a 44% increase on the previous year.
The own-brand range, which specialises in gourmet food, consists of 260 products including pasta, desserts, dairy products, and chocolate, and is featured in Dia stores in Spain, Portugal, Brazil and China.
Dia now aims to introduce a wider selection of products in the Delicious range, set up new in-store spaces to promote it, and run an advertising campaign in Spain focusing solely on the brand.
The retailer operates several private label ranges, which include over 7,500 products across the areas of food, personal hygiene, cosmetics, baby products, and pet food.
