Spar Croatia has announced that organic eggs of local origin are now available in Spar and Interspar stores across the country.
The move highlights the retailer’s aim to promote the sales of locally-produced products.
In April of this year, the retailer introduced free-range eggs to customers in Pula, Porec, Umag, and Labin.
In Istria, Spar has partnered with the agricultural cooperative Porporat from Porec for sourcing free-range eggs.
Organic Assortment
Spar Croatia sells around 40 million eggs each year and its organic range offers more than 800 different products.
These include dairy, bread, pastries, fresh fruits and vegetables, pasta, flour, dried fruits, cereals, beverages, spices, various teas, and espresso capsules.
